What we’re looking for

At Ideaware, we are looking for a Data Analyst to work with an international client. You will work closely with the VP of Product to analyze user behavior in their app and help the business draw the correct conclusions about the product.

Responsibilities

  • You will compile data from large, often disparate datasets and work with the engineering team to ensure data can be retrieved and analyzed quickly.
  • You will build dashboards that include graphical representations of the data often focused on revealing trends over time.
  • Work with product and other business leaders to identify opportunities to improve the product experience.
  • Create reports and dashboards for internal teams and/or external clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
  • Structure large data sets to find useful information.
  • Work with the engineering team to configure data sets to optimize information retrieval.
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, R, or similar for data manipulation and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience using BI and visualization platforms such as Tableau,
  • Looker, Amplitude, Metabase, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • Experience with statistical software.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate analytical insights into clear recommendations and effectively communicate them – verbal/written – to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to QA and troubleshoot data

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Motivated self-starter, comfortable taking things on and making decisions.

What we’re looking for

At Ideaware, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to establish and build a software engineering team in Colombia as a complement to the US team. In addition to building and leading the team, you will help build out new features on an e-commerce site and ensure it is highly performant for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Help recruit, hire and lead the Colombia engineering team, which will consist of front-end and back-end/full-stack developers.
  • Lead an agile engineering team that delivers key e-commerce and fulfillment features, working closely with product, marketing, and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor, coach, and lead junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Build and own high visibility, high impact customer-facing features.
  • Design and implement systems and architectures to support scale and maintain agility while delivering magical experiences to our customers.

Qualifications

  • Front end: JavaScript ES6, Next.js, React, HTML, CSS/SASS, Webpack
  • Back end: C#/.NET Core, AWS, RESTful APIs, Ruby/Rails, PostgreSQL
  • 6+ years of experience and demonstrated success as a software engineer, ideally with front-end or full-stack experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership position (Engineering Lead, Technical Manager, or equivalent) leading a team of 4+ engineers.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with engineers, UX designers, and product managers to help us deliver magical experiences to our customers.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Effective technical communication skills with a variety of stakeholders.
  • A passion for learning about new technologies and the Lovepop business.
  • A desire to make an impact and help us create one billion magical moments.
  • Bonus Points: Experience building modern component-based UIs with React and a passion for building clean, usable user interfaces.
