WordPress & Marketing Developer

About the role

We’re looking for a WordPress & Marketing Developer to join the marketing team of a U.S.-based marketing and online education company. You’ll build and run the sites, landing pages and funnels behind their launches, working next to the marketers who write the campaigns.

You’ll own the WordPress side end to end: you take a campaign brief, build the pages, wire up forms, email and tracking, and ship on the launch date. The team moves fast, so you’ll get the most out of this role if you like seeing your work go live within days.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain WordPress sites, custom themes and blocks
• Turn designs into fast, responsive landing pages, sales pages and funnels
• Connect forms, quizzes and checkouts to email marketing and CRM platforms
• Set up and debug analytics and tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager, ad pixels)
• Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals and on-page SEO
• Keep plugins, hosting and backups up to date and secure
• Work with marketers to launch campaigns and A/B tests on schedule

Requirements

• 3+ years building WordPress sites professionally
• Strong PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with custom themes and the block editor, plus at least one page builder (Elementor or similar)
• Experience connecting WordPress to email and CRM tools (ActiveCampaign, Keap, HubSpot or similar)
• Comfort with GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking
• Git and a staging-to-production workflow
• English B2 or above

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing funnels, quizzes or online course platforms
• WooCommerce or other checkout integrations
• Performance work on high-traffic launch pages
• Using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor or similar) to ship faster
