About the role
We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our growing team and work with innovative US-based startups and scale-ups. This is a mid-level role for someone with a strong portfolio, solid design fundamentals, and the ability to take projects from concept to final deliverables with minimal direction.
You’ll work directly with product teams, developers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, beautiful, and user-centered digital experiences. Whether it’s a new product feature, a complete redesign, or an AI-powered interface, you’ll be responsible for crafting designs that solve real problems and delight users.
This is a full-time, fully remote position paid in USD. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones, participate in user research, create wireframes and high-fidelity designs, and work closely with developers to ensure your designs come to life exactly as intended. Our clients value designers who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and deliver high-quality work on time.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for web and mobile applications, from research and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into elegant design solutions
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using Figma
- Establish and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency across products
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and provide design support during development
- Present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback constructively
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, especially in AI/ML interfaces and modern web applications
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional UX/UI design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work for web and mobile applications
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma (required)
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing insights into actionable design improvements
- Strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to create and maintain design systems and component libraries
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) — able to present and defend design decisions
- Experience collaborating with developers and understanding technical constraints
- Self-starter with strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects
Nice to have
- Experience designing AI/ML-powered interfaces or conversational UI
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and understanding of responsive design principles
- Experience with design handoff tools and developer collaboration workflows
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
- Experience working with US-based clients or distributed teams
- Motion design or animation skills
- Background in user research methodologies
