Fullstack Engineer (AI)

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer who uses AI to ship. You’ll join a U.S. startup’s product team and own features from the first conversation with product to the deploy, working with Claude Code, Cursor and other AI tools every day.

You know how to get a coding agent to write most of the code, and you know when to stop trusting it. You review what it produces, test it, and stand behind what goes to production. We care about how much working software you ship each week, and about how well it holds up after.

Responsibilities

Build and ship fullstack features across frontend, backend and database
Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar) as part of your daily workflow
Review AI-generated code for correctness, security and maintainability
Write tests that drive the product the way a user would
Design APIs and data models that the team can extend
Build AI features into the product when they solve a real user problem
Work with product and design to scope work into small, shippable pieces

Requirements

5+ years of professional fullstack development experience
Strong TypeScript and React
Backend experience with Node.js, Python or Ruby on Rails
PostgreSQL or another relational database
At least 6 months shipping production code with AI coding agents
Git, code review and CI/CD workflows
Ability to work on your own with little direction
English B2 or above

Nice to have

Experience building LLM features (tool calling, RAG, evals) into a product
Next.js, Supabase or serverless platforms
Experience at an early-stage startup
A side project or open source work you built with AI tools
