The Problem
Some twitter and facebook conversations about Colombian or local issues where difficult to track. Some great online communities exist all over the web, but we couldn't find a great local one, so we decided to build one ourselves.
The Process
We started out by analyzing what we wanted to create and achieve and find a local niche to grow the community in. We found out there was no place to have community conversations about anything and everything.
We then designed and built the app from the ground up using Ruby on Rails and launched. We've been very impressed and happy with the community that has started to form around the site.
